Types of grape juice
The company produces high quality red, rosé, white and varietal Grape Juice for the food industry. We also produce a line of 100% organic Grape Juice.
The origin of grape pressing
The must used to produce our Grape Juice comes mainly from Italian grape varieties and, to a lesser extent, from European ones. The musts are subjected to strict quality controls.
On request, we offer the possibility of selecting grape juices from specific varieties, taking care of the purchase and transport of the product to our plant.
The must becomes Grape Juice by stopping the natural fermentation process that would give origin to wine.
We use 2 different processes to make this happen.
Pasteurization involves heating the product for a short time at high temperatures. This process sterilizes the product, which is then stored in aseptic, insulated tanks under nitrogen. This prevents oxygen from coming into contact with the yeasts naturally present in the juice, thus stopping fermentation.
The fermentation process can also be stopped by reducing the temperature, bringing the heat of the grape juice down to 0 C°. The mixture, once micro-filtered, is deposited in refrigerated tanks, where it remains sealed under nitrogen.
Cold processing and pasteurization also allow us to produce a line of 100% organic Grape Juice.
We can count on a technically advanced industrial facility, which covers an area of 45.000 m2, with a total storage capacity of 75.000 tonnes and a capacity for storing SO2 Free products in aseptic tanks of 13.000 tonnes, to guarantee our customers constant quality and quantity over time. The diversification of the production processes, combined with high storage capacities and a solid distribution network, enables us to guarantee a constant cycle of processing and delivery of the final product, regardless of the quantity and type required by the customer.
Laboratory analyses and certifications
Starting from the selection of raw materials, to the processing, storage and distribution of our products, every process is rigorously monitored by our in-house testing laboratory and by external laboratories. We have thus obtained numerous quality certifications such as FSSC22000, la ISO9001, the more prestigious IFS and BRC, as well as Organic, SGF and Halal.
As the first industry in Europe to promote sustainable viticulture, we are proud to cooperate with FSA (Farm Sustainability Assessment) certified companies. Thanks to them, we can distribute a Grape Juice made with respect for the land and those who work on it.
